Thinking Thursdays

A series of events offering an opportunity to think about climate and related issues, and discuss solutions - local, national, international

All events are at Rugby Eco Hub, Claremont Centre, Clifton Road CV21 3QE. Doors open at 7pm 

Attendance is free, but suggested donation is £2. 

Please come and help us set up and have a cuppa with everybody so that we are ready for a 7:30pm start.

Alex van Randwyck is head of integrity at British Showjumping and responsible for the delivery of their sustainability strategy. This talk will look at the impact of climate change on sport, some success stories from different sports and events, as well as the power of sport to have a positive impact on the environment 

Thursday 12th March - Living with an electric vehicle

Sharing the experiences of owning and using an electric car for three years in the real world:

• Is range anxiety really a thing?  

• How long do I need to sit around whilst my car charges?  

• Will it self-combust?    

• How much does an electric car really cost to run?

• I live in a terraced house.  Can I charge an electric car at home?

• Come along and find out about the practical realities of running an electric car.
